I just watched this movie on cinemax it actually turned out to be a very good movie.

Plot-
A cab driver finds himself the hostage of an engaging contract killer as he makes his rounds from hit to hit during one night in LA. He must find a way to save both himself and one last victim.-from IMDb

* Max has lived a mundane life as a cab driver for twelve years. The faces have come and gone from his rear-view mirror: people and places he's long since forgotten--until tonight. Vincent is a contract killer. When an off-shore narco-trafficking cartel learns that they're about to be indicted by a federal grand jury, they mount an operation to identify and kill the key witness, and the last stage is tonight. It is on this very night that Vincent has arrived--and five bodies are supposed to fall. Circumstances cause Vincent to hijack Max' taxicab, and Max becomes collateral--an expendable person who's in the wrong place at the wrong time. Through the night, Vincent forces Max to drive him to each assigned destination. And as the L.A.P.D. and F.B.I. race to intercept them, Max and Vincent's survival become dependent on each other, in ways neither would have imagined.

This movie has been out for quite some time, but hey... the movie is really good not something you'd expect, although I'm looking forward to that new movie by the same director of Collateral.

 

i saw about the ending quarter, and it was pretty cool

 

T'was a good film..

Its a good movie but Tom cruise lets it down because of his disastorous attempt at being the bad guy. the story is slow and mundane and you really do just hope the movie would end sooner then it does to avoid the torture that youve had to endure watching it. this movie did not deserve its owns thread

You've only jus seen it? I saw it ages ago here in Britian, yeah it wasn't bad, i thought it was quite though out, and it got good near the end when he was chasing the cab driver and that lady, then it was good

 

yeah i saw it last year... or the other one, i dont remember... its a good film, i recommend it too...

 

I was going to see this movie but i didnt have time.

 

I got it on DVD when it first came out. I saw it in the theaters and thought it was really good. I only buy dvds of movies I like nowadays. Sold all the crappy ones I wasted money on :-/

 

Good story, not for everyone... It's toward for more "mature" people. I really like this film, the performance of the taxi driver was very good
