    Don't get the 3800+, instead get the 3700+...the 3700+ has double to cache over the other. But save up and buy an x2!!!!

    1*1mb=1mb
    2*512kb=1mb

    1mb=1mb

    think about it thi way, the 3800+(not the x2) outgames and outperforms the 3700+ even though it only has half the cache and a mere 200mhz clock speed increase.

    also consider that the x2 3800+ has an entire core doing background tasks for it. WOW, your max FPS declined from 121 to 118, but you no longer lag when windows virus scan pops up at 2AM.

    Well then its not your processor, please download 3dmark05 and post your score, gives me a rough idea where you stand. Battlefield 2 will not play well for you because you dont have 1gb of ram.

    Yep, I have the Athlon X2 3800+ and it is totally b***hin' when I play PC games. Anyways, if you get yourself a 754 socket motherboard, let me know. I have an extra AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (2.2Ghz) and it will make your computer run fast and smooth. I'll sell it to you or anyone for $100. :D
