Who's got guild wars and who's getting the expansion! Post your ranks,etc here! and what you like about the game! ponderin whether to get this
I have GW, and I'm definitely getting the expansion when it comes out. I've got 3 level 20 PvE characters and am working on my 4th, I don't keep a slot open for PvP because I don't really like it, but most people leave the 4th slot open, and with the new expansion coming, there will be another slot added, so I may get into PvP then. I have most of the rarest items in the game, plan on getting the rest after expansion is released. I like the whole aspect of the game, people say it's similar to WoW and other MMORPG's, but seeing as you can only be the human race, it's kind of like a modernized medieval style of play. It's really fun and, for me, it hasn't gotten old, and I've had it since the day it was released. I can answer most questions you may have, and I'm always willing to convince people to buy a good game EDIT: If you do decide to get it, PM me your name on the game and I'll help you in any way I can, such as gold, items, etc...
Actually, there will be 6 slots, 2 extra is you combine your Prophecies characters with the Factions account.
I have Guild Wars and definatly getting the expansion when it comes out, in fact, I've already preoredered it! I have a level 20 warrior but I dedicated on getting my ranger up to level 20 at the moment. I have one slot for PvP, but only do random arenas sometimes, so I don't have a rank or anything like that.
I too have GW and think its and awesome game. ALso that u have to only pay once for the whole game . I will definately be getting the expansion. Plus theres new professions coming in too. Was anybody else playing when they put in the sneak peek and showed us the ritualist and the assasin? I liked the whole finishing moves and combo moves in that. The ritulist is so odd tho u can summon but also heal im pretty sure it was. I myself at the moment have 3 20's and a pvp slot cause i like testing out all that kind of combo moves and going to HoH and "builds".
I have guildwars. I just lost a black dye i think with the merchants ----ing up. Found it from a Pinesoul near Ice caves to.
Nothing but good reviews from anything i've seen hmm just hope price goes down after expansion comes out.
I'm not sure about the expansion right now, maybe... I'm currently in a guild that's PvE I think, PvP soon though. We're just beginning to practice PvP. I have a level 20, 19 and a 13.
I played guild wars for about a month. I had a pve 20 Elementalist/monk I had a pve 20 Warrior/monk That game just sucked period after a month. Wow has kept me much more interested.
WoW you have to pay monthly, if I had the chance to play WoW I would but I can't, my PC is the crappy and will probably build a new one over the summer, not positive but hoping to. Once I do I'll probably buy WoW and play 24/7. =p
Heh, have fun with that, I had alot of trouble doing missions with PUG's when guildies weren't on, or I just didn't want to bother them. Everyone expects EVERY monk to be healing, I was protection and carried 2 healing skills which I used very rarely, not including Restore Life, and it was a PAIN getting into a group. And when I did, if one idiot ran ahead and died, I always got yelled at..people don't know how to accept that they just suck
Oh come on! lol WoW looks positively horrible, and I would play Guild Wars if I had it. I currently play Lineage 2. I love it. ^^
