I bought an XFX 6800 XXX Edition PCIe with C.O.D 2 included, but it's french localised. The menu's and the audio are in french (except the nazi's). Can someone please tell me how to change language into english? ;( :(

(Don't ask me if there is a language choosing option at install or in the options menu, cuz there isn't)

There is no way to change the language in this game. For example, if you want the game to be in English, You need to buy the U.S. version.

You just need to replace the "localized" files with the english ones (or the language you like). They can be found in the Program Files folder "Activision\Call of Duty 2\main" and look like this: localized_(insert language)_iw(00 to 10).iwd . A friend gave me the english localized files and I replaced the french ones and it worked perfectly. The audio and text are both in english. ^_^

Hmm...that's good that your friend has the English localized files. If it weren't for your friend, you'd be stuck hearing everything in the game French.

Definitely! He bought his in a "normal" store so it was the "normal" english european version. I think mine was french because the vga-card might be from France (although it has an english manual and driver cd).
