Well, I don't see why credits are still even enabled for this section as each thread here gets spammed much more than threads elsewhere. Honestly how many times have you seen a large number of people simply reply "yea just PM an admin" in a row? In RC's topic on this page you can find about 7 in a row...I think it's a joke to have credits enabled here if people spam like this.

    I agree with this.

There is no need for the credits to be turned on in here, this is a problem and suggestion forum. People are bound to spam in every section in here knowing that they are getting credits. What I dont agree with is what Andrew has been saying in the other thread about taking some credits off every person on this forum. People have worked damn hard to get the credits they have now, I for one know that I have.

I also think that you will find that the most spam that happens on this forum is in the 'your stuff' section of the forum. A 'well known and respected' person could post a piece of work, next thing you know you have a 10 page topic of spam.

^ you mean by posts like yours? >_>

however, sometimes members help other members in problems and suggestions, and rewarding them with a post/credit wont do any harm. perhaps we should just cut down on the spam.

    ^ pm an admin :P

lol j/k yea that'll be cool but you will still get people getting their post count up whether or not there are credz are involved or not.

especially noobs who make up silly little threads sayin watch this vid its about how this guy got pwned playin halo 10 (lol well there will b 10 in da future) and thay say thanx for the comments guys.

u might aswell say you get no credz for a little post (bump especially) cos they are pointless and are considered spam.

if a topic dies its cos it sucks and cos it sucks you need to let it die..................eg u sellin a tut......if no1 likes it then leave it alone and stop bumpin the ------- up

Some posts in this thread are EXACTLY what im talking about. Your not adding anything new to the thread by saying you agree without posting a reason to why you do or don't.And for whoever said that you don't get a reward for helping, if they are really trying to help out GR then I'm sure they wont mind not getting credits to help cut down spam aswell as stop some un-needed credits being added into the economy.

If you decide to keep credits enabled here, PLEASE fine the people who plainly post "PM an admin" to a thread when others have allready said that.

The thing is if you turn off credits on this forum some people might want it to be off on the Computing section also because most people that goes in there just say the same thing. I know it's a good idea to turn it off at some sections but then the other sections would get spammed. People will always find a new way to earn their credits via credit inflation on selling their work or any way they can.

Turning off credits for posting in this section actually is a good idea. Perhaps if you repost this in the credit discussion originally posted by Andrew it might recieve a bit more notice and be taken into consideration?

If they post here only for credits then they're not really in this section to help are they?

Thank you very much, this is a great idea and has been taken on board, credits will no longer be given for activity in this forum.
