    makes your dark screen brighter, and works with games and videos, besides adobe gamma....

    Wow, if you don't get the brightness with the settings on your monitor then errr... Hey! You got the drivers updated all the way? If you do then I will look into the whole brightning.

    Okay, I use this program called powerstrip, it is wonderful software matter a fact. It has brightning I just looked at it because I just thought of it. Let me get the link... http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/ps.shtm

    You can flash a light at it..

    hmm..in games, you can turn it up sometimes, but there is a limit on your monitor for what the brightness is, flatscreen wize.

    Believe it or not, it does detect your monitor. Some computers do that. Anyways. I would update all my drivers (GRFX CRD), see if that monitor requires anything for compatability and use powerstrip.

    There is indeed a limit on how bright your monitor can be. I'm not exactly sure what will happen if you try to make it brighter.

    If you've already maxed the brightness setting on your monitor then I doubt it'd be smart to go further.

    i have a feeling a know what your problem is. My monitor was so dark i could barely see anything with all brightnesses all the way up. My video card was going out, so I replaced that, and it was fine

    nope, its been like this on my last computer, and this onces new so its not the vid card....


    and that progam did jack all m8 lol. thanks anyways tho.

    Wow, as you went to "Right click>Color Profiles>Configure...>Brightness" it didn't do ----?
