"Bond" is an electric string quartet that I listen to; all instrumental.. but it's not classical music, don't worry lol. It's just modern string music.. really awesome. Alot of around the world themed music.
Otmar Leibert is somewhat jazz, very easy listening it's Flaminco Guitar and some other percussion instruments. Peter White is also good, alot of vocals and ver different instruments (vocal jazz not actual lyrics). Chris Botti plays the trumpet and is ver soothing, sometimes acccompanied by vocals. Pat Metheny Group is vocals like Peter White but with more instrumentals. There is also the group Acoustic Alchemy, a jazz group that primarily uses instruments in unique ways. If you decide to go jazz, I do NOT recomend modern jazz for a setting that you desire. well thats all the insight I have for you, hope it helps.
I can usually listen to rock in the background otherwise I listen to an english artist called jamie cullum and (jazz/blues sort of) and stuff around that Daz
For some nice easy music I'd suggest: coldplay, Jack Johnson, pete murray, enya... They're all decent, and easy listening //Haze
