    Yeah, people think bands are emo when all they do is cry and yell in their songs.

    But you have to look into it more in-depth if you really want to know...not just the outer crying or slitting wrists and whatnot.

    wow.. i have tossed this question back and forth in my head for MONTHS.. i did see them a few weeks ago (despite my efforts of not going (i was dragged into the show)) it was actually a DECENT show, but the opening bands were better (emory and some other band) i dont know if theye 'emo' but i would definetely consider them sallies who cry about breaking up hahaha... does that make them emo?? not sure

    Meh, i don't know.. Some songs are a little more emo-like than others.

    I'm not emo.. but i listen to a TON of emo bands.. heh... I guess it just depends on the song.

    aren't they that band with that song "Jamie .FM"? I hate them...

    And ya..you can be like, say, rpep, and still listen to emp. Most bands, though, categorized "emo" now, aren't really emo to me. More angsty than emo...they appeal to the "tortured teenage soul".

    Yes, they are.

    And listening to them doesn't mean you're emo, it means you like the song(s).

    No we hate emo because they just make songs that sound- so that people will like them, and their skill level ass musicians is extremely low i mean listen to their riffs, even i can play that crap

    emo=skilless
