I have Sprint and I recommend using them - I have signal everywhere I go :) They also have deals for sign-ups on their recent phone releases, so check out a sprint store near you.

Also, since they bought/merged with Nextel, you can get mobile-to-mobile talk with both Sprint & Nextel users. They're also making their phones compatible for the Nextel & Sprint "walkie talkie" use so the charge isn't separate and I think that'll be the final stage in the merging.

In my experience the life of a phone isn't related to its technology or features becoming outdated, they die from other things, like hardware failure or accidents after warranty. My v600 is still going strong, and I don't forsee me needing a new phone until something unfortunate happens to mine.

The SLVR is nice, but I don't find its features worth the cost. Any phones that can be used as mp3 players often have extremely short battery life as a player.

Plus I prefer flip phones, but thats just me.

I have the Sony Ericsson Z520a and it is awsome but yet a lot cheaper than the razr the design is nice, its bluetooth enabled, infrered enabled, you can change out the themes, ringtones, etc..(if you have a special usb hookup for the phone for $25) using your computer and a special usb hook up that uses the charger part tp hook up to the phone then you plug the usb into the computer, you will need to get the drivers but they are free from the website.

I also use Cingular, im not going to lie but every now and then you cant call out because of the service but that doesnt happen regulary it only happens every once and a while.

If you want to check this phone out clthen go here: http://onlinestorez.cingular.com/cell-phon...-z520atour.html
