My friend runs a hosting company. You can get unlimited Bandwidth and Disk Space for £2 (about $4/5) a month. Click here for more deatails

http://www.theplanet.com/ has the best servers for your money. Since you are running a game server you wouldnt need cPanel or anything.

$119-$399/mo for a dedicated server. Altho I am relatively sure you wont be able to afford that I would recommend looking into a hosting service like .Dluzion's in the GR.com shops area or talk to him about getting a server, or perhaps check out the above link.

a server that would be fast enough would cost well over 100 a month if your program was up for use on the internet.

I think it would be cheaper in the long run to buy your on dedicated server and host it on that.

If you can program your own MMO, then you should be able to find and set up a web server in your sleep.

At any rate if you intend to run programs you will need command line access so at the very least a virtual dedicated server.

Lol, thats what i was thinking.

If you want to literally buy your own server and have it brought to your house and hsot things from their, try an IBM server

You could also get a *cringe* dell server :/

Also, if you plan on running this this locally in your house or something... you do realize you'd be paying a very high sum of money for a T internet connection. Normal hish speed here in an american home wouldnt cut it (although in britain, they get 2 gigabit internet connections)
