Hmm...I dont know how to get to it exactly but go into your BIOS and go to something like Hardware Management or something along those lines..
Now look through there, there should be fan speed alerts/warnings somewhere and just turn it off or something.

However, if your fan doesnt run, thats not good..but Usually if I keep my pc off for a little while it does the same just cuz the fan is restarting after a while, so it's normal if its been a while since you shut down ur pc before.

i type too much for something so simple.

    lol, diablo...

open your case and make sure it is running.

if not, get a new fan.

    theyre really cheap...

if you do need a new fan, just tell us. we'll point some good ones out..

lol, fans are fans, the only problem is that some are loud. just get them from your local store and make sure the sound is under 30DB.

Hangon he said CPU Fan, dont disable it, that will ---- up your CPU. Best thing to do is get a new Heatsink+Fan, i recommend the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64, quiet and good performance.

just check dust on the fan, if that doesn't help anything then jiggle the cables, make sure everything is plugged in sucurely and then if that fails I would try getting another fan. I don't suggest running it without a fan untill you can get that one working ofcourse. But I hope you can get it fixed bro.

    yes they are

I love my Thermal Take GoldenOrbII its so seexy and silent :D

Cools enough - Max temp ive gone to is 31 [with workload]

lol - Ill start laughing if the power cord is not in properly haha :D as someone stated

    However .. First step

Check power cable then decide what to do

    2nd step

if the cable is in then check BIOS settings - CPUFan speed if you got a sensored motherboard :D or if it displays this info - Check 'minimum fan speed settings' or something similar to this

Sometimes if you have 600rpm and it goes to 400 it will start beeping saying fan is slow/off or whatever :D

    So check those 2

if not them then check the cable if they not been sliced-lol - Or if its a old fan model then get a new one :D

Thermaltake are very very good aswell. But the one i pointed out is allot cheaper then any of theirs, and gives most bang for buck.
