Just A Quick Cookie Question

    what would happen of i deleted ALL my cookies in the cookie folder?

    and do they get rid of the stuff that u type in like say u typed in Gamerenders in google but u accidently typed GamereDNers.It has that little white sub-box that pops up if u type in something close to it.

    Well when i deleted my cookies it didnt effect google

    If you deleted all the cookies then you would probably have to log back into every site you are a member of. Also settings that require cookies would be reset (for example the Fast Reply Always open option would be reset. It wouldn't hurt anything as long as you know all your passwords and login names.

    Cookies are a general mechanism which server side connections (such as CGI scripts) can use to both store and retrieve information on the client side of the connection. The addition of a simple, persistent, client-side state significantly extends the capabilities of Web-based client/server applications. :P So you know when you might log into a site and your username is "Rockstar", when you type "R" it comes up with a list of usernames stored already. Well it will delete all of them so you'll have to type in your whole username, etc. It does no harm really. I do it daily.

    heck of a first post Tool. But yea, it will log you out of everything and basically lose all of the data stored on the computer from the sites on your cookie list.

    It wont mess up anything, you will just loose all your history but not yoru favourites, so if theres a site you wanna re visit, i suggest you favourite it.
