Ok there's Monitor A, and Monitor B. Both about same price. B is 35$ higher.

    -A-
    Size: 17"
    Contrast Ratio: 600
    Pixel size. 2.64
    Power Usage: 34w

    -B-
    Size: 19"
    Contrast Ratio: 500
    Pixel size. 2.94
    Power Usage: 60w

Which one should I go for in your opinion? I think it would be nice to go for a 19" for just 35 more bucks, but then the power usage is almost double, and the pixel size is smaller. I think 500 contrast and above is good enough anyway so that shouldnt be too big of a deal.

I'd go for the 19" you'll defenatly notice the diffence.

o, ok, I dont really care, but if i had the money to burn, id get 'B'.

the power is about 3 times that of B on a crt, so youre not wasting too much electricity..

I'd REALLY go for a different model over the Viewsonic VA912b...I got one on boxing day and returned it a day later...it said an 8ms response time but I REALLY noticed ghosting in game. So I went and spent a little more for a Samsung SyncMaster 913v instead, great monitor. :)
