Cs Crashes Can You Help?

    well i play at my friends server all the time and recently my CS started to crash when the server played certain maps then when i delted and reinstalled steam it started crashing me off the server completley can this happenes to someother servers to it goes to Verifying resources then it crashes any one know how to fix this? i tried the Steam forums but they dont reply...

    hmmm....directx 9.0 updates?? it happendd before to me...

    omg..directx 9.0 , ...video card burned? there can be a lot of reason, post ur pc specs and well see if it has anything to do w/ hardware ..

    i mean about the direct x 9.0 what do you mean do i need to dl it or what

    i think its neccessary to run counter strike..i mean, i had it when iused to play it..and it worked perfectly...

    try looking for it in microsoft.com ( if ur version of windows ISNT legal, then download it off download.com or something)

    to 9.0c? thats the most current..

    try updating your gfx card drivers, maybe, i dunno, never played cs...

    Directx 9.0 isnt necessary to run CS. Try putting -clientport 27015 in your advanced launch options.
    To get to your launch options right click the steam icon on your taskbar -> Play Games -> Right click Counter-Strike -> Properties -> Launch Options.

    do i put -clientport 27015 like that? or without the -
