Diablo 2 Lod

who here plays d2LOD? and does ne1 kno when d3 comes out?

 

there more than likely wont be a D2, WoW is blizzard's new RPG and probably going to be the only series they continue at this rate (they have been upgrading WoW and WC3/WC3:TFT alot).

I play D2 on rare ocassions. If you do open battle.net dueling and your a member of LH or JoT you probably know me (not by .Dementia).

I used to do closed D2 from 1.03 (first edition for D2, and 1.07 was first edition for LoD) to 1.10, but in 1.10 they wiped out half my chars with their warden module (anti-hack module) so basically I was dirt poor and had no more reason to continue doing closed.

 

I play it from time to time. It was super addictive back in the day when it was new and stuff. I made a few accounts, as sometimes I dont go on for long periods and my account gets deleted. My highest char ever was an 82 Barbarian (sword) but then I stopped playing.

I started again like last summer but when school started I stopped, so my account is most likely gone.

 

I doubt there will be a Diablo 3 because WOW is a big success and they don't need anymore RPG game.

 

i heard d3 was coming out sometime this year or the next, but then again i also heard it was going to be first person lol

 

Ok, for all of you who say there will be no D3, I think you are all wrong. Diablo 2 was such a success, over so many years, that I think they have to come back to it. Yea, it seems they are on a Warcraft run right now, but I think they will end up making Diablo 3. It might not be anytime within the next couple of years, but they will make it. Now they just need Starcraft 2.

EDIT: Oh, and almost forgot, level 75 Sorceress was my best character.

Never played Diablo and probably never will...sadly.

I don't like the gameplay of it. It's almost like Runescape which is bleh.

 

Haven't played in 2 years, bringing back alot of memories. I suppose Blizzard will announce Diablo 3 sometime between now and Blizzcon later this year after the WoW expansion comes out

 

They has a trailer of a game similar to that of a 3D D2 at blizzcon last year.

Anywho, I forgot to say my best chars.

Level 99 (2)sorceress (MF orb, MF Nova), (2)assassin (dual claw, shield/claw), necromancer (bone, tho im not sure why i kept him), palidan (zealer), barbarian (frenzy/ww) and amazon (bow/java hybrid).

Included all the rare stuff up to 1.10. Windforces, X Factor armors, Quarks, Eth 200/9 Titans, Isted crystal swords, wrings (white rings), wamulet (white amulet), white gloves, the slow boots, etc.

I played a lot obviously lmao. HELL COWS FTW! You can understand now why I quit when the warden module hit my account and took just about all my items from me at the start of 1.10.

 

Used to play it all the time. And every once and awhile I get a big urge to play it

 

I played on the hardcore ladder up to 1.10. Got really into it too till my sorc died... She was a lvl 99 meteorb mf'er, 64th on the sorc ladder too. Blitzy Bears was her name.
I tried to build another; mf'ing w/ an 82 enigma/hoto hammerdin, but it's just not as much fun. I ended up giving both my accounts to a friend and haven't played since.

 

Lol my rarest equipment itm iever got was maybe eye of etlitch (sp), one of the rarest necklaces.

i used to have 2 full accounts. every1 cept my mules were 85+ (i usually stopped leveling at about 85-88)
my favorite character was probably my paladin. ebotdz, upped hoz. all that schnaz, could take out the 3 ubers in like 5 minutes without getting hurt
