So, Someone told me that I couldn't find a way to crack avid video software. Well they were wrong. A "friend" has one copy, and as anyone that has uses avid knows you can only use one computer at a time, since you need a little usb type key. So after 2 days of work we figured a way to duplicate the cd, and "crack" the usb/key device. Just thought I'de share the story, since I've never heard of someone cracking avid software before. Mods, hope this isn't against the rules, just thought I'de make a semi-interesting topic. I didn't include anything about how I did it so I don't think it's against the rules. Anyhow, discuss away.
Yup. A lot of free time. I think it is against the forum rules to even discuss cracks, etc. But before this topic gets locked, "nice."

If avid is crackable, then I don't know of anything that isn't. That was mostly the point of this thread...
We've check almost all the features, and everything works without a problem. Does anyone know of anything that could possibly be harder to crack than avid?
They give you a little usb thing. It look just like a usb. It's just a key though, and avid can't start without. I'm not going to get into detail, because I would prefer to keep this thread open
