Yes i love hiphop/rap. the thing is...what you get on tv is just what you said, stupid beats and bad lyrics. The best stuff is what you don't get on the radio/tv. Try listening to little brother, outerspace, psyche origami, or jedi mind tricks. Those song have meaning, not just stupid blabbing about how your going to get shot in your escalade while im having sex with your girlfriend.

Little Brother - All for you

From the roots to the branches to the leaves
They say apples don't fall far from the trees
I used to find it hard to believe
And I swore that I would
Always hold my family as long as I could
    But damn
Our memories can be so misleading
    It's misery
I hate to see history repeating
Thought you were the bad guy
    But I guess that's why
    me and my girl split
    And my son is leaving

That may be the most unfounded, biased statement I have heard all day. Do you even listen to underground?

well your just seeing mainstream rap, so dont judge rap as a whole and so what if most rap songs are about the same thing most pop or rock is about love

I like rap and r&b , well, you are right that "i am in love wit a stripper" "laffy taffy" "booty dance" is crap , indeed : it's crap , but not all lyrics are bad , I like the disses mostly , cuz it is so funny to listen how 1 rapper disses the other 1 . U should download Tupac : Changes -> i think thats one of the best lyrics in the world of rap ;)

You obviously have know knowledge of underground rap, so your not in the position to judge. There is a whole lot of rap that is smart but inteligent rap like other genres of music doesn't apeal to the majority. Your only hearing the mainstream hip pop.

You have to be joking? There are a whole lot of rap songs that are better lyrically than changes.

    Very biased comments indeed-lol

As said what u see on TV is mostly hip-hop all these booty dances - I personally dont like those lyrics that they have chosen

Some songs that have not been put onto TV are better lyrically than most - I listen to hip/rap/trance/electronic/instrumental beats/Bhangra/Indian etc loads isnt it

I like some songs to have a meaning and some i dont like the lyrics but i like the beats to it :)

Most of 2Pacs lyrics have meaning so listen to him - But someone like 50cent ...

what can i say .. pile of balls?-lol - The game just pwns 50-lol

Thats metal you've been listening has sure made you smart. Do you think metal bands just make songs about good things?

I have never came across Underground metal before -lol

Heard of Underground Rap - DANGER MOUSE :D

Its alright - basically its up to you in what you listen

I can say just to make it interesting metal ...

Have random people that have long hair going crazy?? You cant hear the lyrics or voices due to the shear hardcore noise in the background :)
