hey, i have recently bought some hosting from one of the members of this forum, the link is www.myth.clashx.com this used to be fine and load up ok for me but now it doesnt

if i use IE it says the error 404 and if i use firefox it says 'connection has been reset by the server' and does not allow me to load up ANY domain/subdomain/page/file whatever from clashx.com. Every other site is fine.

however, i can access the FTP and download, upload, move and rename files and whatever in an FTP Program.

ive tried clearing my cookies, deleting my temp files, disabling my firewall, but cant seem to find the problem

anyone have any idea why this is?? ;(

    Thanks.
i will rep you if you figure it out ;)

do you have a router? it might be that it's firewall is blocking it...

hmm, then it seems your firewal is blocking it. Try turning off your software firewall, as well as the windows firewall.

the Windows firewall is doing nothing for you, it doesnt make a difference weather you have it or not, its not protecting you, but it can block some connections.

it might be that some ports are not open on your modem/router...

did you try resetting your router/modem lately? just pull the power on it, and wait a few minutes then plug em back in...

T/O (timed out) means your fire wall is blocking it. Turn off fire wall, or leave ports open for what your doing.
