So I pick up one of my school's newspapers yesterday, and front page, see an article about this movie Pirates. But its no ordinary movie. This is a porno with production values rivaling some lower budget pseudo-mainstream "real" films. It cost $1,000,000+ to make, a record for the industry. And it was nominated for 26 adult movie awards, winning 11, also a record. Best part? They're considering screening it at my school. I'm not excited because I'll get to see it, I can download it for that. I just really want to see how pissed off some people will get, and how many crazy protesters show up. Haven't had anything really too exciting on the "protestation" front since the presidential election.

Well they already screened it at CMU (Carnegie Mellon University), and have started to make inquiries at some of the ivy's to see if it is worth a screening there. The reason my school newspaper had the article was that the production company that made the movie had already contacted them.
well atleast change it from school to university. Some kid might get the wrong idea thinking they're shooting it at a middle school or something...
Lucky :< I can't imagine pr0n at my school. It would be like The Girl Next Door, except I'd be the one whose next door neighbor was an ex-stripper.
