I was just curious how people first got introduced to signatures and/or graphics basically. For me, it was basically through the first online game I played, Delta Force 2. I first saw signatures on the different forums and that is what spurred my interest in signatures and other graphics work. Tell everyone else how you started, I think it would be interesting...
umm i got PSPwhen I was younger, around 2 years ago, and I used it for web graphics, and when I went into a forums it was only natural that I made my own sigs and i went from there. Now though I have PS and it IS better.
well i played game called delta force black hawk down. and i went to a website about delta force. and i saw these cool gfx and stuff and them i kept seeing them and i desided to make my own.
Yeah, most people seemed to have been introduced to graphics and signatures through different games that they've played, that's the impression I've gotten.
Always seen the custom signatures other people have and wanted to try my own. At the time I had paintshop pro, so it was impossible, so xmas rolled around got $300 for money and put that together with the rest of the money I was saving and bought photoshop. Ever since I have been taking tutorials, lessons and trying to get better.
My friend on a different forum introduced graphics to me. Later on, I bought myself Photoshop CS and I've been making sigs ever since.

CAL forums, it was kinda funny cause at that time people sucked at it, and i sucked at it and then I learned to be good at it, and stuff like that it was back when i duno if game renders was even here
A while ago I joined this FFXI forums. I stopped going after a while, but always remembered how good their sigs were. Well, when I joined a game called AdventureQuest, I eventually found my way to the forums. I saw this group called Elite Sig Makers, where Chrislee was in (Of course, I now know he pretty much was the only good sig maker). I decided to try myself. I loaded photoshop (my dad used it), messed around a bit, asked my dad to show me a few things, and looked at tutorials. With messing around, looking at tutorials, and reading feedback from other people on mine and other sigs, I slowly got better and better. I remember my first sig too. It had no render, because I didn't know how to take one out. I made it myself though, with a few filters, and I thought it was nice for a first time.
welll... for me it started odd. First, i was looking to do some kewl effect on good tutorials.com. I just turned 12 by then. anyways, i searched for somthing, and i saw a kewl red background. The title was: how to make a basic forum signature. Fun. Anyways, clicked it, followed the steps, and my first crappy signature... was there. Anyways, one year later i got to www.halomods.com. I saw those grunge and tech signatures and didnt know what it was called then. I asked, they explained. My second signature. Then i started experimenting with styles, and stuff. it was sweet. Another year later, 4 months before i turn 14... is now. 3 months before that, i joined this site. Even before that, I made my own forums and stuff. It was sweet. Anyways, thats my story.
I first saw signature graphics at HLFallout (A Half-Life fan page) and since then I have had an interest in this stuff
I started messing around with PS after my brother, and now I can create my own things, insted of doing tutorials.
I joined a WarCraft III forum where sigs were quite popular, and decided to get into Photoshop. That was two years ago.
Actually mines pretty funny. Well, I was looking at bash.org on hte irc quote and I saw one that said Gamesurge Chanserv Split and I was currently on that server so I deicide to whois the person thta wrote it and I found him and then I went to the channel and There were 3 people in that channel.. So I decided to go to the site in the topic and this was about 4 months ago, and then I wen there and saw abunch of sigs because it was a sig place then I download ed photosop(WAREZWAREZWAREZ) and I became the man I am today.btw the site is www.iced-designs.net BEST SITE IN THE WORLD.. now im opped in the Iced-Designs channel... Cool... Right? Damn right.
