Ok, thx for everyone's help on my processor question. I have a good understanding of the processors, and an idea of what I am going to get. Now, to move on, motherboards. I don't really know much about which motherboards are better, and which are worse. All I have heard is that Asus makes good motherboards. So, bring on the suggestions. What pricerange do you want? Are you gonna go SLI? (really only needed if using mroe than one monitor) I suppose you'd want a pci-e mobo, as that'd be smartest. Need a pricerange mostly here.
Price range is around... $300, possibly more, although I don't want the most expensive thing. And I don't think I will be using dual monitors, not enough money. Also adding to above post.

I definately recommend one of the ASUS A8N-SLI boards (The Deluxe, Premium or the A8N32-SLI Deluxe versions, not the regular A8N-SLI or the SE). Even if you aren't going to use SLI, they also have other good features that the non-SLI boards like the A8N-E don't have. I myself have the A8N-SLI Deluxe since, and I luuuuv it! :wub: (with an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice @ 2,00 GHz, not overclocked yet) ^_^

Get just the ultra-d you are paying $30 extra for SLI which is still unlockable on the ultra-d. So get the DFI LANPARTY Ultra-D Dont bother with ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe, your paying for the extra SLI bandwidth which is not used at all.

Its up to you to decide, read some reviews and gain some knowledge. Well i just might influence towards any of the DFI NF4-ultra boards since there is an entire forum dedicated to helping you (The customer). There is 24/7 mods patrolling the forums and some of the higher up mods/admins are in direct contact with the DFI company and manufactures.
MSI as of late? Again I say stick with the dfi lanparty ultra-d, best bang for your buck. ANd simply by using a pencil and playing connect the dots you can unlock it to be an SLI-D.
