Msn Beta

    Yep, so today it won't let me sign in at all. I click "sign in" and the little messenger guy's spin for about 2 seconds, then it says I need to download the latest version of msn messenger beta, which is 7.5 for some odd reason...

    Anyone else having this problem?

    No, I have 7.5 installed already, had it for a while now.

    I thought version 8 was beta?

    Lol... Guess not.

    Go to ideas.live.com and download the latest version. =).

    I know that I run 7.5 and I haven't had any problems. That doesn't mean there isn't an 8, but if there is then it hasn't asked me to update yet.

    msn 8 is only for the real beta testers. You can only sign in to msn 8 (beta) if msn gave you the permisssion. Thereare some programs to get around it but thats something else.

    If your using 7.5 then it actually needs to work.

    Beta versions do tend to play up. Best thing to do is uninstall it all and install the previous version. Dont use beta's; they suck :)
