No idea - the people there seemed to recommend it. I would first try contacting Maxon and seeing if what they say helps, if they can't solve it, you could try going back to SP1 (if that is possible for you).
it's either go back to sp1 or find the update for sp2 and fix the problem although it seems that tech support might not be able to help
i used to get this type of message on a different program, adn oddly enough it was to do witht sound, try updating ur sound driver
