i would like it 600 dollars and under, and my friend SkOrPiO can prolly hook me up with sum kool upgrades since he lives near me. so can u guys find ne good deals or sumthing. a laptop is nice but desktops r kool too.

ive seen a desktop with 200gb hd, 1 gb of ram, and a monitor and 2.8 ghz and a decent processor for 450 bucks. can u guys find nething better?

also, what is the best way to make my old comp faster?

Circuit City has some great deals on Desktops ... heres one of them ...

Just browse for Desktop computers on Circuit City and there are many more.

Just to let you know, it is really hard to find a laptop under $600 bucks unless it has a Celeron processor ... but here are some links to cheap laptops:

for a cheap bang for the $ comp, don't get a celeron D! cleron Ds are crap, a 2.8 Ghz celeron D is like a 2.3-2.4 Ghz P4 in terms of performance. If you're in the economy market, try going for an AMD sempron.

can't give you any links at this time though as I am busy and don't know where you're located at.

as for the Celeron Ms, those are fine, non-netburst procs are fine with only 1mb cache.

just get that and upgrade the ram if you're OK with having a small screen.
