o yeah just throught i'd clear this up. Scremo and Metal are to completly different genres. In scremo you have mostly experimental guitars etc... with one guy screaming like an idiot. In metal you have an actual beat and in my case you singing like your voice box has been possesed with a frigging demon or w/e
Jusat to let you know screamo is not emo. emo is when the person is singing about sad things. screamo is just a way in how you pruononce your words. trivuim thier screamo but no emo because of lyrics ^_^ oh and i play drums DOUBLE BASS and can also play a bit of guitar.# The band name is called gridlock. im in a old school metal and punk band two very diffent styles but go pretty well together at gigs old school metal (Metallica, Pantera, Black Sabbat Etc), and some new metal (Trivium) are the best also some heavy metals bands acoustic songs are amazing (Metallica - Nothing Else Matters) EDit: i play lead guitar
If saying Trivium is screamo, then every band that has ever had a lead singer who screams and/or yells is screamo.
