    looks really cool, I might try it. Im kind of sick of all of the XP issues. Intel is also making pentium 5, I think it may come out at the same time as Vista

    anyone know anything about Open GL in vista?

    I've heard in some places that it is uttterly crippled, yet I heard on one place that it's only partially crippled in a manner which does not affect games(affects the desktop only)

    actually i think i will get it just for the future, but it'll just be an option for duel boot.

    i gotta do something with 4 harddrives

    no such thing as a pentium 5. dunno why. i've heard that in latin pent meants 5 (pentagon?), so naming something 5ium 5 is dumb :P

    no they arent making a P5. They renamed em to conroes, and a few other names.

    isn't a P8 though based off the P6 core? man... WTF did P5 come from that's way back into the orignal pentiums.

    I'm still sticking with 2000 Pro -_-.

    I have been planning to buy a new computer some time, I want the best of the best but now I don't know how long it will take before Pentium 5/pci-e 2 etc comes out :(

    By your pc now. there will always be new tech around the corner that you can avoid. The only thing I say wait for is for nvidia to release their 7900gtx in the coming weeks, that will send 7800's prices down.
