like is it a program or based online? does it let u play games for free, like if i bought one with callof duty, can i play that real game, is it online? is it legal?
it is a legal program if you want ill send you a link to the main website and you can on;y play games such as half-life, hl2, Counterstrike, Counterstrike Condition Zero, Counterstrike source and games like that nevermind he just told you the main site
Steam is a download/update client used mainly by VALVe games. The games supported by it can be found here by looking around. The games are not free, it is online and yes it is legal. No Call of Duty 2 is not supported by Steam, but VALVe's version of it is. It's called Day of Defeat: Source, highly recommended. By the way, if you don't plan on actually giving people what you promise, don't say you'll give them anything in the first place.
ok so people would get an account and buy games, thats why they cost money on auctions? if i bought one would i be abe to play all the games and never pay more?
and yes it is based online no you need to get the cd keys from whichever games or you can buy them in sets like the whole valve pack 79.99 us has halflife, counterstrike 1.6, Halflife 2, and css or something like that, or you can buy the counterstrike set that has 1.6, cz, and css or the hl set (hl1 and hl2)
Depends on the package you buy. Go look at their site, I put the link in my post, and see for yourself what you can get.
it depends on the games you want cs1.6 is old so it goes for less source however sells for quite a bit because its the newest version
