Well considering they both play for terrible teams and get little support: Ovechkin: 55 Games Played / 36 Goals / 33 Assists / 69 Points / +/- 0 / 42 Penalty minutes Crosby: 58 GP / 28G / 37A / 65P / +/- -9 / 80PIM Crosby is a whiner, he can't take the pressure of being the "great one" and is then played hard. He takes stupid, costly and selfish penalties far more often than Ovechkin. Croby's -9 rating is 2nd worst in the Top 20 point leaders, showing that he's a defensive liablity... the only one worse than him is Kovalchuk, he's also tied for 1st in PIM among the top 20 point leaders... Ovechkin can and has single handedly won games for the Caps' but Crosby however doesn't have the same pressense for Pittsburgh. So, Ovechkin > Crosby

Ok i know hockey and my msn pic is ovechkin. hes just flat out a goal scorer, sid is a better overall player but ovechkin is making his team into a better team. and alex is just putting up better results. and actually sour. ovechkin does, look at the penguins lineup, they had palffy and mario and they still have recchi and and MAF and alot more players like malone and stuff, the only person ovechkin has is kolzig ^_^ so ovechkin is just plain better right now. it could be diferent in 5 years Merged Post: dA superior ^
The caps are the second worst, and Pittsburgh is an extremely under achieving team. Look at the talent they bought in the off season, Recchi, Leclair, Gonchar and with Fleury in goal they should be a decent team, while the caps have Ovechkin, Zubrus and Kolzig. Crosby's hasnt showed "heart" this season, last time he did that was in the Memorial Cup final, it's not like "That Russian" doesn't show heart he played a damned good game in the olympic quarter final when we ( Yes, I'm Canadian) lost to them. He claimed it was the biggest moment of his life, clearly showing "heart"
ya and his tongue is sweet, always has that thing dangling out ^_^. lol. and ya that was a horrible game for us, we played horible. i cant wait til 2010, i live in vancouver ^_^
