i'm lead singing in my band, i am also rythm guitar... we are a metal band called "Demonic Darkness" but we have no video and havent been to a studio.
Screamo is fine with me. As long as I can still understand some of the stuff they say and the whole song isn't screamo. I have a few friends who are in bands. The best one is The Day We Fall. They've played with My Chemical Romance, Don't Look Down, and All American Rejects. I believe that is the list. I have their myspace for the band, can/should I post that?

Heavy metal FTW. This excludes Korn, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Nickelback, Mudvayne, Slipknot, because these bands are not metal, and suck.
I also found their purevolume, which wasn't hard. Haha. I don't know why, but they changed all their songs on their myspace and purevolume. They used to have better versions of their songs on there. Now most of them are live, and the quality sucks. Screamo is probably one of the most retarded music genres ever created, it's high up there on the scale of gayness along with country. seriously, some drunk ass emo was probably thinking of a way in which he could prove to everyone that he is independent and started screaming his ass off, which then turned into screamo. funny how emo and screamo both end with mo Personally, i think it's ----ing retarded. i can respect metal and heavy metal, but screamo is stupid, and if you think that you're talented because you can sing some screamo, you're a retard too.
dude, i respect that, but to a point. its not easy to scream like that for 4 hours a day. it hurts, and you have to cope with it. you have to train yourself to take it. on top of that, the pitch has to be just right or its not good. it takes alot of talent, and you try doing 1 4 hour show bud. and its not emo for ---- sakes!
