Wth Has Happen To My Computer

    ok i got home and when i booted my computer up it went to weclome screen and then went to my wallpaper and nothing else i let it site sit for and hour and nothing happened i did it for 5 times boot up boot down i couldnt even see my start bar or icons wth happen to the thing i havent dled anything for a while or indtalled anything. so i do a reformt and i got back to desktop ok and now its runing good again but can some one let me know how this happen? :unsure:

    did you have window blinds? I dunno, maybe there was a program that was set to open on startup, and that program was corrupt and caused your comptuer to hang. I dont think you should have jumped the gun and reformatted so soon, you probably should have gone into safe mode and done a little investigating.

    Oh I had this happen to me once, I didn't have w/b running or anything such. can you press the windows key and see the start screen thing?

    Maybe you didn't have explorer.exe running at startup. I accidentaly disabled it once, and when I started up all I got was my wallpaper. All you need to do is hit Ctrl+Alt+Del then click new task and type in "explorer"

    or do the normal in safe mode. Virus and Spyware check...

    EXACTLY what jammie said, this happened to me, it was a virus, you should run virus things like mcafee and stuff, ctrl+alt+delete and click new task etc. go jammie!

    u shouldn't have done a reformat so quickly u cud have saved alot of time.
