I just got my a600 samsung, its from paris, got it as a present. Came with a usb and cd to install, i connect it, the wizard says if it came with a cd, put it in now. I did, i installed the usb drivers. then the wizard says the installation was unsasesfull. I reinstalled the drives no luck, please help
<s>umm, what does this have to do with a phone line??? what are you taking about anyway?</s> oh, you mean connecting your cell phone to your computer through usb, be more clear next time. try downloading the most current drivers from the manufacturer's site. i dont know the compatability between paris and wherever you live...
um, i dont think its becuase of it was made it paris, i think it is the usb drivers, plus i think the tittle tells my problem lol
im not talking about the phone itself, im talking about the drivers you recieved with the phone. obviously, the cd was made in paris also? just look for the updated drivers for your model.
You did it the wrong way-lolz You ALWAYS install the software before inserting the USB cable into the PC and connecting to the phone OR else it wont work I got a Samsung D600 and it has said that if you plug the cable in with phone it wont work - Even has like a cardboard card stuck to the end of the USB cable ' Saying install CD Software first'
ok, i though of the same thing, and xmasterx, i did, did not work. So now what, can i like remove it and make the wizard pop up again when i insert the usb?
i had this problem with my motorola don't use the wizard use the cd's install then when its finished run the program it will ask to detect the phone connect the cable and it should auto find the phone if all else fail update the drivers
OMG drivers are so annoying, i dont think i have ever got something to install with the cd that they give you... I always end up going to some wierd site that have the dll's and what not then right clicking them and choosing install =_= 'Motorola Phone Tools' when my friend wanted to use it with his RAZR we took an hour to get the drivers working =_=
right click my computer->properties go to hardware pane, and click on the 'device manager' button. find your phone on there, and uninstall it, if it is on there.
When you do that 1. Unplug any phone USB wires 2. Install program 'Samsung Suite' from CD - Or USB driver - Mine was 'Samsung PC Studio' 3. Once finished RESTART 4. Insert cable and connect to phone 5. Installs drivers - If the wizard pops up then do Auto one 6. Once finished RESTART 7. then should work Bluetooth well easier
it doesnt work for some reason, i hear a sound like when something is inserted by a usb, but nothing happens though, not even a wizzard
