Is it possible to overclock this type of processor? Because I am getting a new PC with this processor and I would like to know so I can overclock a bit to a higher frequency. :D

yes, but you must OC both cores together if you want them to be both enabled. that means if one coer can go only so high and the other can't your stuck.

that means, you could disable one core nd OC it to a level and OC the 2nd and get 200 mhx more but only be able to hit the lowest of the two cores worth.

    You can't disable a core.

There are some programs out there to overclock but i recommend using your motherboard BIOS to overclock. Read up about overclocking before you try anything and hurt your new system.
May i ask what type and model motherboard you are getting?

for most people, the only way to OC the proc is through OCing the ram.

The internet is a big place buddy, there are such things called 'reviews' where they look over hardware to see how good it is. And this motherboard got a good 'review'.

    Price doesnt influence that much.

It's actually not bad. I own one, and I haven't had any problems with it.
