About A Previous Post Regarding "ultimategfx"

Hey guys, a guy posted on my forum (yes, I own UltimateGFX), so I knew there had to be something going on here. I saw the post, but by the time I wrote all this the topic had been deleted. People have been questioing whether or not UltimateGFX is (as they claim) a "copy" to this site. Feel free to delete this topic, but I want to clear a few things up frist:

1) Yes, as people have mentioned, the skin on both of our forums is public. I bought it. GameRenders bought it. Not stolen in any way.

2) Yes, I have a renders gallery. No I didn't get the idea from GameRenders. A close friend suggested it. Did he get the idea from here? Who knows.

3) Yes, I have a splash page. Um...go to like every GFX site, they all have them. ChaosGFX is another example of a well-established site that has one. I've seen plenty. Reason for this? Well, for one, it's an easy way to distinguish the forum from the renders gallery. There is only a small button that takes you to renders on the forums, so I thought it would be a simple way to attract members to the gallery itself.

4) Is my forum/gallery licensed? Yes. Will I change it just because people think I copied a site? No. I am 16, I'm not some 25 year old that has a VISA or w/e and has a job...what I buy, I have to be careful of, and the decision was made over a month ago, so I won't just throw everything away after spending money on the forum, skin, gallery, domain and hosting. It's unfortunate you don't get paid to sit in a classroom all day.

5) Anything else that copies GameRenders? Not sure, tell me if there is...and if there is, I don't really care. I have had no intentions to copy this site. In fact, until recent disputes about me copying it, I had no idea it existed. I respect the fact it has over 50,000 members, I don't want to copy it.

6) Okay, so you respect that fact, then why the hell did you choose to have a gallery and a skin like GameRenders?

- Well, like I said, I'm 16. Not sure if you are a rich 16 year old, but I'm not. I'm a normal 16 year old just out there to use his knowledge of web-design to make an attempt at a GFX website. Nothing I have was taken from GameRenders. Like I said, 50,000 members!!! Had I have known before-hand, I would have certainly chosen a different look. I guess down the road I may have to do this if people keep on accusing me.

Sorry to any of the admin, or the webmaster(s) of this website if you feel I went against any of your policies. If I did, it was unintentional.
