Well, everytime I open photoshop my computer restarts. What ive done so far to try to fix it was reinstall it, that didnt work. So then i went for a different version of photoshop so swithed from photoshop cs2 to cs and guess what still restarts I have no idea what to do next can someone help me out here!?!
you may have a virus get a different copy of the cs2 or cs there might be a bug in the program thats i can think of atm
meh id just uhh whats the word...damn i donnu err erase everything re-something it..leik erase eveyrthing...ive done it 10 times now..its all good
reboot tho computer, yeha i thought about that but if its overheating my computer that might not help eh?
system restore is what he meant but most likely that won't get rid of the virus and if you know the name of the virus it's simple to go to symantec.com and get the fix for it
you got windows xp? if so try this: Click the Start button and right click on my computer and then click properties. Click The Advanced tab Click the settings button in the startup and recovery box UNcheck the automatically restart box click ok Try it now, I hope i helped
ummm....maybe your memory is sooo low you dont even have enough to launch up anything....why dont you just format it.... -King-
wow, whats with everyone always saying "format". Formating is should be the last resort or just giving up on finding a solution to the problem. TO see if its a virus, boot into safe mode then do a virus scan. To get into safe mode: 1) Repeatedly tab F8 while your computer is booting up until a menu apears. Use your arrow keys and the enter button to select safe mode 2) Start > Run > Msconfig Go to BOOT.INI tab Make sure /Safeboot is checked. Restart your computer. When you want to stop using safe mode, simply go back to the BOOT.INI tab and uncheck /Safeboot If it still restarts, I'm bettings your overheating or something
