OK, I did not read this all, but will try to help.

when your computer starts up, go into BIOS(usually done by pressing "del" you might want to just continually tap it) then look around for the setttings which allow you to frirst boot from your CD rom drive.
after that pres whichever keys it wants for you to continue, then delete the partition. YOU SHOULD NOT BE IN A WINDOWS ENVIROMENT WHILE DOING THIS. create a new ntfs partition then do a fresh install ontop of that.

if all else fails, try deleting the partition using a dang ubuntu CD or something and then making a new NTFS partition with the windows disc

    I hope this helps.

    hm..well im kinda confused a bit :D

You aint got a floppy drive so only got a CD drive and you want to get rid of the stuff on the HDD

    Follow this for deleting/installing partitions :D http://www.gamerenders.com/forum/index.php...opic=163529&hl=

Yep, the bootable OS's can really come in handy when your Windows corrupts, and you have important files.

Ive done it several times with Knoppix, put it in, boot off the cd, get your files you want to save, burn a cd-r, shut down, reformat, install windows, put your files back on the computer, boom, your back where you left off...

    lol

Look under the members name you will see 'Donate Credits' = Give credits

To rep someone you need about 180 posts now i think - CLick the green arrow to plusrep[wtf the plus sign dont work-switches to -]] or the red to -rep = Increase/Decrease Rep points ^_^

If you have a Windows XP installation disk, just pop it, restart, and follow steps to format your HD.
