Ipod Help

Hello, my ipod nano is brand new, i got it as a present, it turns on, but theres only photo extra games settings shuffle songs and backlight folders on it. i put music in it and its still the same, but when i press play in the main menu, it plays songs and then theres a folder called now playing. This never happend to my other ipod, plz help

 

you probably have more success if you use itunes to transfer music.

 

i have a nano... when ur playing a song.. and go to the first menu where it syays music, photo etc... theres always been a now playing when ur listening. Its prolly a newer format

 

Is it plugged into the computer?

 

send it back and get a new one. takes 2 weeks though

 

Screw apple. Get something better like an iRiver or something...

 

Hmm, i just bought mine too, but try to use Itunes, thats the only thing i can say.

 

I use itunes too, but im saying in the main folder, theres only those, no music catogory, and i cant send it back, i got it as a present, i can listen to music becuase i did transper it using itunes, so yes it is connected

 

ya the Iriver t30 kicks ass!

this how i add folders to my T30 (its a flash Mermory player)

plug it in and goto My Computer
Now Click on ur hardware that shows up it should be under removeable devices
Now u should see some folders look for the ones that says what it says on ur menu like games etc
now create a new folder and add songs to it (aka: dang and drop)
and thats how i add to my irivier T30

 

use the itunes cd they gave u

 

ok, i did, and this is not the iriver or something, btw, a folder does show up when i plug it into my compter. But it only has contact and calander thing.

 

this is your problem ur music folder aint showing on ur ipod

go on settings and folder options or sumthing like that and make it show the folders ud like to see

 

You are cool now, anyways i believe it is drag and drop.

I just click the transfer to ipod button in itunes. B)
