Xfire Virus?

Are you more prone to viruses if you download xfire? cuz my friend's computer was all good, then he got xfire. It worked fine for a while...but then viruses started invading his comp and he didnt do anything.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, xfire is used for gaming purposes so I put it here.

 

l0lz xfire is just a game checkers like how many hours you play a game ... I dont think it really have a virus ... 100% It dosnt have to do anythining with virus

 

I'd say he just had a timed virus from another program. If he got xfire from the official site i'm 99.9% sure it didn't come from it.



edit: Did he get a skin from an un-official site? It may have come from it.

 

Xfire dosen't give out viruses

XFIRE doenst give virussen, I almost got this for like 7 months and didnt gave me virussen.

Sites don't give you viruses... stuff you download from sites do, you get spyware from sites.
