omg i benchmarked it on 3dmark05 and my gfx card like i said is great but when it ran the two cpu tests it was running them at 1/2 fps which is terrible. is their something that is causing this or is it just my processor. i have an emachines T6412 which came with an AMD athlon 64 3400+ 2.2GHz..... i dont know what size it is but it would be a huge help if u guys could help me with it.

you're probably getting CPU limitations on the FPS... the solution is simple, wait a few years, because your CPU is fine and GFX cards are ahead of CPUs at this time, even the FX57 and FX 60 give the highend GFX cards CPU limitations, there just isn't anything you can do, deal.

oh btw, my friend has an emachines just like mine and theirs something wired between his and mine. he has a radeon X700 pro and stock sound card, i have the 6800 GS and a new soud card which is like 3X better than his but when i play bf2 at his house their is more sound involved, like u can hear the soldiers talk. it does the same at my dads house and the thing they have in common is they have 1 gb of ram and i have 512mb. could that be the key? because i know my comp is better than my friends in everything except proccesor and ram. also when he plays on his his gfx gets more detailsl, like street signs, road lines, etc. whats the difference? is it ram? because im gonna upgraded to a ton rlly soon.

well, 512mb ram isn't goof for BF2, 1-2GB recomended for BF2, but as for sound, try installing the latest drivers.

that is fine for the cpu tests. The cpu tests means they are graphics off the cpu not gfx card.

you dont really need over 2.

just get 2x1024mb RAM. It'll be like 150-220 bucks i guess. I am fine with my 1gb.
