Will This Gfx Card Work For My Computer?

    ok im looking at saving up for this -

    yep its a 7800 alright and best of all it AGP :)

    anyways i was wondering it it might work on my system hears my specs -

    AMD 3400+ 64 processor 2.6 GHz
    DVD Drive / DVD Buner / CD Buner
    Basic CD-ROM Drive
    200 GB Hard Drive ( I have 80 GB left on it )
    1 GB Of RAM
    My current GFX card is a Geforce 6200 OC AGP with 256 MB

    well can it handed it and is it worth it and will i see a big deffence?

    if its a 6200 OC agp then it will work.

    That is what Vash has. He wants to know if the GeForce 7800 AGP will work on his PC. Well Vash, it should work because you have a great PC spec. Also that is the video card I am getting (since I won on a sweepstakes). But it's an eVGA brand. :D

    Make sure you have at least a 450W power supply or your system wont be too stable

    It should work, as long as you have '1' AGP slot open =P

    I also suggest http://www.tomshardware.com/, they give out good advice on pc issues. I would suggest to do a clean install, which means reformating.

    I wouldn't waste the money. I'd say get a new motherboard, (PCI-e) and get this video card. Also, if you get a new mobo, get a sata 2 compatible mobo. Then, get a WD or Seagate Sata II HDD.

    you cannot get pci-e boards for socket 754 that are any good.

    i agree that you should get a PCI-E card, agp is dieng
