i Like the Ps2 better because it has way better games then the xbox. The oonly reason people get xboxes i think was because of halo/halo2.
I can tell you right now that I have an Xbox and I hate the living s*it out of halo 2... There are plenty of other games, and their multi-consule games own because of the graphics plus not having to some on some cheap memory card. What other games really does PS2 get that are THAT much better....
I picked Xbox. I have both but I bought my Xbox first because of it being more adult oriented. (with me being 30) I picked up the PS2 for RPG purposes basically and its ability to play online for free The Xbox of course you have to pay a monthly fee on Xbox Live and lacks in RPG's, for now.
okay.......there are some top reasons who is better...ill list them first off...ps2...as all you know they do have less graphic then xbox is litteraly because it came out in earlier then xbox. therefore they didnt manage to get the new graphics that xbox are having today. since it came out earlier then xbox it has more games. Now thats all the pros....now lets go on with the cons. when ps1 came out it was the best system around....and the only problem was that it only had 2 slot controllers...then when we heard the announcment about ps2 we thought it would come with 4 slot controllers...but we were wrong it came out as same as before. the online options are pretty disapointing...sure you DONT have to pay to play online...BUT most player might have 56k or maybe less...which cause major lag...ALSo to be able to play online..you first need a memory card to download all the needed items to be able to play online. which means each ps2 game online = ONE memory card. Now for xbox...XOBX came later then ps2..which means better graphics....at first the controllers SUCKED meaning it was so huge that it was only good for fat people. anyways the xbox consol is a huge system..i mean huge..the good thing about it is because you dont need a memory card.....for piece sakes its like a freakn computer except you only play games on it...it has a hard drive, it has online port, it has a fan..what more do you expect? this is a high class system. far more advanced then ps2. also the GAMES are mor important overall. Microsoft will buy EVERY game from the companies they can find. they got halo2, fable, kotor, dead or alive, mech assault, etc. and later on this year they are goin g to have doom 3, gta san andreas, half life 2, perfect dark 0 etc. they have all these games that are in our waiting lists today. the xbox has 4 controller slot. and it has the best online gaming consol in the planet. no more lag for ALL THE USERS because you cant register without at least having a high speed or a cable. mostly ALL xbox games are available online. in conclusion i have to say xbox is the best so far...but it isnt over yet. because ps3 is coming out and so is xbox2 later THIS YEAR in 2005!!!! xbox2 is already in developed and same with ps3. the sony company is nervous and concerned about the release of xbox 2. when xbox 2 releases the ps3 sales are going to blow. so who will be the final champion? ps3 or xbox 2? Xbox2: they say that xbox 2 is going to be completley wireless....thats right folks no more wires and tanglness..will be removed from your life forever. anyway xbox 2 is also going to be small (obviously) they are going to use BLUE RAY DISK a new generation of cd disk a 40gb cd. is going to be used for xbox 2 as well for ps3. The games are quite simple...better graphics...the graphics that microsoft are teamed up with is ati. which will be using ati radeon card for xbox 2. the games are going to be simple. Half-life 2 is no longer coming for xbox. it has been delayed and moved to release for xbox 2. doom 3...was delayed..it might come out for xbox but not sure. halo 3 obviously coming for xbox 2. and all the sport games and fable2, etc. ps3: Ok ps3 is in alot of trouble right now. first the graphics...obviously they will improve it since the last graphics for ps2 was disapointing. they company they are going to team up with is NVIDIA. they might use nvidia geforce. i cant say much about this system i have not yet read any articals about it yet. Gamecube 2: ahh yes...the gamecube.....obviously nintendo is also up for the comeback! they have already made to concept of the nintendo 5 aka gamecube 2. the controllers are going to be wireless...they are changing to blueray or this other disk that contains same as blueray. dvd player, more online. better graphics. etc. conclusion: i am not sure if this is correct or not but i am just a newbie gamer who writes these things down from game articles. anyway im tired...im outs....JUST HOPE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION SYSTEM WILL ROCK!!!!! peace
i'm saying X-box, great games, great memory great grpahics and it's never failed me.....until recently. i had it about 4 years now.
I have all 3 systems and I have to say I hate my Xbox. All it is is a shitty computer. Xbox would have barely any sales if it wasnt for Halo. PS2 I play sometimes, some games are good, but has alot of shitty ones. GC I play the most, it has the best games IMO. Anything with Zelda will win anyways. BTW I doubt the Xbox is coming out 05... Begining of 06 I expect maybe code named Revolution (Nintendo) and Xbox 2. About half a year later PS3 will come out.
I could easily argue my point but I grow weary of doing it on 50 different message boards, so I won't. Nothing I say will change anyone's opinions so I'll just state that I prefer the xbox. Thankyou and have a nice day.
PS2 all the way I like ps2 games better, I could'nt care less about the X-Box the only good thing it has is Halo 2 and I'm fucking tired of hearing how good it is because there are plentyyy of other amazing games so fucking drop saying Halo owns everything damnitt !
read my comment before you say "XBOX IS ONLY GOOD BECAUSE OF HALO 2" thats not true....who would spend over $200 bucks just for that halo game? as i said they have other games like doom 3, dead or alive, splinter cell, kotor, half life 2, ETC.
