    I don't want metal. I don't want punk. I don't want rap. I don't want hip hop.

    I want somthing like maroon 5, OK go, motion city soundtrack, james blunt, the strokes, cake and stuff like that. If you know of any easy listening/softer music, but still GOOD music, please tell me.

    creed has a nice selection of soft sounds, with a bit of a rock edge

    Iris by goo goo dolls is old but not too bad if you listen to it again after so long... roflol.

    how bout classic rock, like metallica, acdc, pinkfloyd,etc.

    or... if you want something thats really soft: classical music. some of that stuff is pretty good.
