There are so much rumors so it is hard to say something now, but you should be thinking for price for about 450$ - 600$ from all sources i have read. About release date - main problem is that we don't even know will it be worldwide start or separated one. Analitics thinks according to PS2 launch, that first start country will be Japan(Spring 2006), then USA (Fall 2006). then Europe (Winter - Spring 2007), BUT XBox 360 launch can make them to make worldwide launch, just to make people buy PS3, not 60.
If I'm not mistaking, 1/4 of the Sony booth at the Tapei gameshow (starting tommorow) is reserved for Ps3, including working models. Maybe they'll officially announce some things there.
