So I just got my 19in flatty in the mail. And it's got one green pixel right in the middle.
And I'm wondering is there anything. ANYTHING I can do to get this to go away?

that's a dead pixel. Call up the company and see if they will replace it. most of them do not unless you have 5 or more dead pixels. varies from company to company.

Dead pixel it is ;) - Once dead you cant revive it so ask company for exchange or refund or whatever ^_^

I thought a black pixel was dead? And there's no way to revive it at all?

Well if the pixel is not the same colour as the ones surrounding it - Ie that particular pixel is of a different colour then something wrong with it

The pixel either dead or something happened to it - I doubt you can replace the LCD ;)

I have 3 on my monitor too; in the middle, green dots. Sux big time, they only replace it when it's 5 or more.

Psp seems to have them too, my friend has 3 dead pixels, but they won't replace it, 3 pixels on a psp screen is alot...
