you could do that but the best possible advice you could get in a discussion like this ? and i think defuzion will agree with me on this one...

prevention is always better. so find a better source for porn or w/e you think your getting your viruses from. i personally have AVG but its never open because i know whats a virus and not. just a skill you pick up if you have no life like me :)

Avast is a great anti-virus, for all those who use Norton, i wouldn't recommend it, because it screwed my old computer.

Search for Norton Anti Virus, you'll get a serial number or what ever, so basically it's free..

I use AVG, I haven't gotten around to download Norton.

I use Avast and Symantec Corp. 10

at a refurb place i work at, we put Avast on every computer we repair.

For Firewall, I use Sygate, the last free version before it went to Symantec.

For Spyware, I use MS Antispyware, SpyDefense, and Webroot Spy Sweeper.

look on my free software thread. It's pinned, shouldnt be hard to find.

I use avast on this computer works great.

We use nortan on the family computer (my dad has this thing about costing $$ must = good program) and I really dont like it. It causes a complete halt in all my work whenever it finds a new file it wants to scan, which can sometimes take a few minutes.
