well, it was done for a game. And the wallpaper can be found everywhere, so i think the artist has given the copyright to the game. (i think that makes sense) Similar to anry and the half life picture. Also, this render has been done many times before, and there's no reason why i can't render it

The rules are that you need permission from the artist if the picture is posted on DA or CG-talk. It doesn't matter if the picture is posted elsewhere, the artist allready copyrighted it by posting it. So i don't see any reason why you should be an exception.

 

Image is on gamewallpapers and is alloud.
