just finished mine specs: Pentium D 830 OC'd to 3.1Ghz ASUS P5ND2-SLi Deluxe 2.75GB Corsair at 533Mhz (4gb installed but this is not 64bit Pro so it only sees 2.75gb) WD 250gb SATA 16mb cache 7500RPM eVGA 7800 GT 256 mb GDDR3 GPU @ 475Mhz x2 in SLi latest stock drivers DirectX 9.0c December
if you wanted a good 3d mark score why did you get a pentium D? for the same price you could have gotten an x2 3800+ which outgames a 3.2GHZ PXE and kills or matches it at everything but video encoding.
i got the CPU XP Pro Photoshop Elements Premier Elements and a different Mobo for 200 bucks from Intel's employee purchase program. Believe me I would have prefered the AMD
Gimme a link to this 3d mark thing then I'll give it a shot (yes, i googles it, kept getting stuff about limited edition or something)
haha, i was gonna try running that on this crappy computer. The minimum sys requirments are so far beyond this thing... I'll have to do it tommorow when i have my 1337 machine set up, lol
Good luck to you guys lol. Remember, Ctr + Alt + Del and go to processes and find 3dmark06 right click it and set CPU priority to High or Real time if you can, It'll up your score a bit. And turn off virus protection and messengers and what ever other apps you have running in the back ground too.
