    Nothing will happen.

I really hope the media doesn't turn this day into another year 2000 problem.

Although I did hear, that a TON of people have their wedding dates on that day. Guess that forces the guy to never forget an anniversary. Woman plotting again.

Pure genius. All that religion is is a way for people to explain something unexplainable. Then again your right with the feeling good sense that it gives people. You don't see to many happy athiests.

i am an atheist and i tend to agree with karl marx that religion is the opiate of the masses i doubt anybody is happy if they dont have the "rose tinted glasses" that religion provides people. with the question you need to answer is ( and i am speaking metaphorically here) is taking drugs a good thing if the world seems like a better place?

did you know back in 1990-something around that time, on the news paper and tv news, they had this religious group of people around 400, though that the world is going to end on sunday and go up to kingdom of heaven on monday, they actually gathered up on sunday and each drank poison and they all died.
and what happened now, we are still living.
sad people these days, tsk tsk tsk

    That would be a cult.

Also, the death of Pope John Paul II was supposed to mark the beginning of armageddon, and unless snowing (im in CO) is erm... hell rising to earth, I think were all still good, right? lol

Which is why I said many :D It seems that the human mind has problems coping with trauma if it doesn't have something to blame it on. Besides luck that is.

an easier conclusion is that if theyre is an apocalypse where all going to hell anyway (due to the fact that we are exposed/give in to temptation on a regular basis). There is no way that anybody can live a life without sin unless you lock yourself away from any outside contact till the day you die

there is no definitive sign for lucifer, satan, belieal, asmodeus, abaddon, etc.

No number represents pure evil character or nature. There are assumptions of numbers such as 666 and 13, but assumptions are just that... assumptions.

There is no definitive term for evil or a character of supreme evil nature.
