Thats a pretty sweet tattoo, and i was wondering, if you wanted to get a tattoo removed couldnt they just go over it with a color that mathces your skin exactly? I know it would be easier said than done, but i think its possible.

    No, it's not.

It's near impossible to cover up black, or any other dark color, with a lighter one. Laser removal or covering it up with a different tattoo are your only options.

not really off-the-wall, its a modified version, and like i said, its only one of 5. Just no good skulls, so i had to replace the origional skull with a better old school skull and a new peice of tribal.

thanks for your comments so far guys :)

no offence, but you got ----ING RIPPED.

2 hours... for that. Sucks for you(not the design, the fact you paid so much :P):

Heres mine, same time in the chair, same pricing... much bigger:

I have 3 others(only tiny ones; about an hour each). Im going in for my BIG one next month. Gunna cover the rest of my back, run up my neck and shoulders, and carry down my arms.

To anyone who was surprised at the price, dont be... Tattoos are about $129 an hour. If you say you know one thats cheaper, then its a grungy place, and not sanitary.

your tattoo and mine are pretty similar size actually (mine is still smaller)

thats not just my upper bicep, its virtually my entire upper arm...

covers about.... 60 square inches (5 inches wide by about 12 inches down) give or take 5 inches...

mine was also more because it has colors mixed into it (hard to see in the shrunk picture) but the skull is really more of a rustic color (brown, black and water mix) and then the eyes have a flame red color in them (red, black) and the red shading.

also, i was charged more for the fact it wasnt the artist's design and she had to draw up the design, etc.

i also live in preptown, USA... where if your parents make under 50K a year your considered "poor" (whereas in california your considered somewhat wealthy at 50K, for an example) so the prices are adjusted by the area.

and, my left arm has a tribal running down the arm to the elbow and up over my collarbone to my pec and shoulder blade. if i ever find my camera ill show you (that pic was taken by the tattoo parlor and given to me for me to scan in) that one cost less by far (atleast by area covered/time consumed) simply because it was solid color.

i also have smaller tattoos (not so much small, jsut medium sized) that ill post up if i ever get my cam lol
