I had my Prince of Persia sig ripped once....

The man who ripped it was called 'Death3aterz' or summin like that, the thing that made me laugh was that he said his name was Cronnie on another forum.... The sig was untouched, he was using my photobucket acount for hosting...

    I was like OMG lol.....

    dude... stop with the okay..

    and as for ripping...

I was really amazed wtih this trick...

it is possible to add your name, and it will not be vissible.. BUT if you add a gradient map over the sig, the name will show......

that way, it you wouldn't need to add your name.. (well, not to have it vissible anyways...)

My name is on all my work, aside from c4d renders (don't really care) and commercial work (it's in the buyer's hands at that point).

There really shouldn't be any reason why you wouldn't put your name on graphics work. Even if you think it's bad, you could be missing out.

The woman that designed the Nike swoosh only got paid $42 (USD) for it, back when Nike was barebones.

also i think if you put it on dA then there is automatically copyright put on it and you can always revert back to that

    I never had anything ripped..

And frankly I dont care.. I have the PSD..

If I caught anyone wearing my sig though without permission..

    things would get ugly xD..

stil though, the whole gradiant map thing rocks..

I am only adding my name WHEN absloutley necessary like GR's SOTW. Otherwise it looks better with no text which is what i want when I visit some exclusive forums.

Actually, I might stop putting my name on sigs.

But if someone did rip one of my sigs, I'd have .psd proof. So there.
