Acutally there is a pc version, too. Unless you are talking about consoles only then my bad, you can ignore this post.
Well there is an xbox 360 version as well, so either way he is wrong. Anyway the PC version is by far the majority of the players.
i wish FFXI was single player...well actaully i dont but i wish you didnt have to pay...lol...but then if no one payed the servers probably suck and then have mad lag all over the place...lol
At least this guy is being reasonable. Any respectable MMO is going to be pay-to-play. Do you have any idea what it costs to maintain servers that deal in such volume? And the "better" version for xbox? If you are playing ffxi for graphics you are trying the wrong game. Its the same gameplay as pc and ps2, and lets face it, gameplay is pretty much all ffxi has to offer.
Pay or not that game is amazingly good. The only reason you pay is because that game took close to 10x the amount of money it usually takes to make a Final Fantasy game. Jueno is the only place I ever see lag, and there it's not too bad.
